I have finally had the time to try out some new beauty products and here's a round up of my most recent discoveries and favourites. Before I begin, today's photos are all taken with my iPhone as I am having some problems with my memory card and I really want to get this post up as soon as possible for you guys.

Let's start with skincare.

I have been sent a couple products by this Korean brand - iNUIK, a couple months back and I have been using the 3 items I received almost everyday and I have to say, I am impressed.

Rose Galactomyces Essential Toner is a very light weight a watery type toner which is suitable for all skin types. It has 70% Rosa Damascena Flower Water. I have always loved skincare products with rose as it is very calming and soothing on the skin, while providing a decent amount of hydration. Oily skin types will love this toner too. Most of the korean toners I have are pretty thick and while they are moisturizing, some days I just much prefer a light weight toner. I have been reaching for this so much! This reminds me a little of my old favourite - Thayers Witch Hazel Toner Rose Petal Toner. The iNUIK one is more hydrating though. I really recommend this if you are looking for a simple day to day toner.

Rose Galactomyces Synergy Serum pairs really well with the toner. This is a clear and light weight serum that I love using in the day. I typically use this before makeup and it preps my skin with just the right amount of hydration. I don't really use this at night as it is not moisturizing enough for my combination skin. If you have oily skin, you will really like this serum. It also contains Niancinamade - which is a great brightening ingredient. Rose product usually have a whitening and lightening effect which is one the reasons why I love them so much!

Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum is definitely my favourite favourite product of the 3!! I can't express how much I love this one. I have been on a propolis-kick hahaha. According to iNUIK, this product has a soothing and whitening effects and is suitable for dry and sensitive skin - perfect for me. This is the one I keep reaching for at night and despite its light consistency, it is very moisturizing and my skin seems to love it. You will not see effects overnight but with constant use, my skin feels very hydrated and plump. I will definitely repurchase this in the future. So so good! If you have similar skin type as me, you will love this one.

RMK W Treatment Oil is a pre-skincare step that you apply and massage onto your skin right after cleansing. This helps to soften your skin and strengthen the penetration of subsequent skincare products you put on your skin. I am almost done with this bottle and I already have a back up. The sad sad news is that RMK is pulling out of Singapore and you can't seem to get this anywhere right now. I bought mine in Japan and HongKong but I'm sure you can get it online and shipped over. If you have combination skin like me and have the issue of clogged pores, I highly recommend you trying out this product. This made my skin much softer and lessen my clogged pores. Might I add, this smells amazing with a light citrus scent.

Neogen White Truffle Serum In Oil Drop has been a staple in my skincare routine lately. Very much like my other favourites, this oil infused serum has a light weight texture that provides a good amount of hydration. I would not say this is something I will recommend for very dry skin types, but if you combination-dry skin you can give this a try!

Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion is definitely an oldie but a goodie. I am glad that I revisited this product as I really like layering this up to 4-skin for that boost of hydration. The texture is like Klairs' Supple Preparation Toner which I loved.

Muji Toning Water High Moisture is another re-discovery. I realised that this performs very well as a DIY mask type hydrating lotion. I soak my cotton pads with this and leave it on for not more than 10 minutes. Doing this left my skin feeling very supple and soft, perfect as a pre-makeup skin prep if you want your makeup to last for a the day.

La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Light Facial Moisturizer performs exactly like how it's named. It is a light weight yet very very hydrating product. I love this under makeup and I only use this in the day. It has a light fresh scent and does not balls up under any of my foundations. Already half way through this product!

Moving on to makeup.

Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation (705) has been a favourite of mine for a couple of months now. It is such a beautiful medium to build-able full coverage foundation with a satin finish - on the dewy side. I can get away with not setting this foundation and it still looks fabulous at the end of the day. I have tested this out in both cold/dry and hot/humid weather, and it held up really well with a wear time of almost 10 hours and still looking almost perfect with no touch ups. I always blend my foundation out with a damp beauty sponge, so that's my preferred application method. The only downside is that this foundation can oxidize a little, fortunately it still matches me after so all is good.

Hourglass Vanish Stick Foundation (BISQUE) is another re-discovery and I'm not quite sure why I forgot about this. This gives a very flawless finish on the skin. Slightly less dewy than the covergirl one, giving you a skin-like finish. It blends out like a dream and I really love how it wore on my skin. However this is not a forgiving foundation if you did not prep your skin well or if you are having a bad skin day. Or else it will break up and slide around after a couple of hours - not cute.

Charlotte Tilbury Air Brush Flawless Finish Micro-Powder (Fair 01) is a beautiful setting and retouching powder. It does gives a bit of coverage without being too heavy. As the name suggests, it just looks flawless on your skin. So far this powder works with almost all my foundations, so despite its high price tag, I will still recommend it if you have problem finding a good powder that does not cake up your makeup.

Not sure if you can see how fine and flawless it looks on my bare skin.

Clinique Cheek Pop in Ginger Pop has been on my to-buy list for the longest time and I finally got it during the Sephora 20% sale. I am hooked! I love the formula. It blends out like a dream on top of foundation and concealer that has already been set with powder. The longevity is fantastic too, one of the most long lasting blushes I own. I am so tempted to get more shades of this... maybe during the next sale.

Colourpop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows (Singles and Palettes) has been a favourite for a pretty long time now and I am really amazed by how their shadows perform. I also have a ton of their singles and I put them in my z-palette - with a mix of makeup geek shadows. I am going to share the 3 palettes that I got from them and I love all of them.

Double Entendre is a great day to day neutral palette. I couldn't decide if I should get this one as I already own so many neutral shadows but I just couldn't pass it up during their sale and I am so glad I didn't. This is one palette that I see myself using every single colour.

I Think I Love You was one of the first palette I tried from CP and I fell in love instantly. This palette is another neutral one but with darker and bronzey shades. The extremely pigmented black matte makes it all perfect! I know so far these 2 look way too similar but I just love love shades like this and I do use both of them.

Needless to say, I will definitely get the Dream St. palette by kathleenlights even though I am not a colourful person at all when it comes to eye looks. I swatches a few shades from her palette and just look at that pigmentation and intensity. The mattes are so buttery and the metallics are just to-die-for.

NARS NARSissist Wanted Eyeshadow Palette was the hardest palette to get my hands on, couldn't even find them in London and Paris. This is limited edition but you can still get this in Singapore's NARS stores or counters - I got mine at Robinsons The Heeren.

Such a beautiful palette. I just love the combination of shades in this one. It may seem boring but you do get some pops of corals, reds and a gorgeous olive that I do see myself using as it is not too bright and overpowering. The quality of the shadows are great too, blends out easily and last for the entire day without any primer.

NARS Fort de France Highlighting Powder swatches really boring in my opinion. There was so much hype around this product but I was pretty disappointed when I swatched it in stores. And god knows why, when I tried it again on my face in sephora, it looks so beautiful. Hard to explain how it is, but it is not too shiny/highlight-y and when the sun hits your cheekbones, its just fantan-bulous. The undertone in this shade is perfect for me too.

Swatch not doing it justice.

Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal Big Shot Mascara is my new favourite drugstore mascara. This gives my lashes lots of volume and lasts the entire day without giving me weird fall out on my face. You do have to curl your lashes with this one as it does not give you natural curls like the Benefit Roller Lash which is still my top top favourite mascara. I never use lash curlers with all my mascaras as I am just too lazy but this still make my lashes looks fantastic.

What are your recent favourites? If there's any products you want me to try, please let me know!
