After being away for such a long time, I am back with a round up of my recent favourite skincare products. Do check out my previous empties post for some reviews there as well. I am still working on my makeup favourites and that will be coming your way very soon.

Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Tissue has been my favourite makeup remover wipes in the whole of 2017. I have used up so many packs of this. It has just the right amount of moisture without being too dry or dripping wet. It removes all my waterproof makeup with just one piece and leaves the skin hydrated. It does leaves your skin feeling a little oily, but that's no issue for me as I will always double cleanse - using just a wipe to remove makeup is NEVER ENOUGH. Don't be lazy with skincare and always make sure you double cleanse.

Foreo Luna and Senka Perfect Whip has been my go-to double cleansing duo. I'm sure the cleanser requires no further introduction - it is really cheap and foams up very well. I have combination skin and I love this so much. It does not strips my skin of its moisture while doing a good job at removing all the remaining makeup/dirt.

While Foreo Luna is the best cleansing device I have purchased (so much more worth it than the Clarisonic Mia 2). It cleanse the skin well without being too harsh. I didn't experience any form of break out or 'purging' with this device. Mia 2 broke me out in the beginning and although I do see that it cleansed my skin well, buying a new brush head every 3 months is just not making sense to me financially. Foreo requires no such maintenance and the battery life on it is amazing. I can use it everyday and night for a few months each time after I charge.

Alpha H Micro Cleanse is a combination of chemical and physical exfoliators. I love using this after wearing a full face of makeup for a long day. This leaves my skin feeling smooth. I'm almost done using this but I can't seem to find this exact same product on Sephora and it's worrying me... I have linked the newer version of this product, infused with caffeine and pure jojoba.

Neogen Green Tea Real Fresh Foam is a great daily cleanser for pretty much all skin types. It smells like tea leaves and I love using this on days I do not have any makeup on. I already have a back up of this.

Some mask type cleansing products.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask is a great moisturising physical exfoliator mask. My go-to mask when I want to do a deeper cleanse but not in the mood for clay masks.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Mask with red algae extract is good for brightening. This mask has exfoliating beads that leaves your skin very bright and smooth after. I love using this after I double cleanse, leave it on for 10-15 minutes and I'll wash this off when I'm in the shower.

Aesop Primrose Facial Cleansing Masque really helps with my congested pores. I have combination skin and get clogged pores almost everyday. I use this 1-2 times a week when I'm feeling clogged up and this helps in a very gentle way. It doesn't leave my skin feeling super dry like their other Chamomile mask - which is similar but probably something suited for oilier skin.

Alpha H Liquid Gold and Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid are two of my favourite chemical exfoliating products that helps with my clogged pores. These are gentle options to consider if you are looking for similar products to introduce into your skincare. I like using Liquid Gold with the Alpha H cleanser mentioned above - I can really feel a difference the next morning with smoother skin.

Neogen Real Cica Pad is a very recent discovery but definitely my favourite pad-type product so far. It has a very sturdy material and the texture helps to remove any dirt left on the skin. I love using this before makeup in the morning - I no long use face wash in the morning. The pads are also big enough for my whole face. The Cosrx ones are smaller and I find myself using 2 pads sometimes.

COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pads has been keeping my breakouts under control. I used this every day and night before makeup and skin care. It is totally worth the hype and I recommend this for blemish prone skin - it will not only help clear breakouts but it will also prevent them.

Cosrx One Step Moisture Up Pad is a newer hydrating version and I have to say I prefer this for my drier skin. This helps remove dirt and also tone the skin at the same time by giving it some hydration. It is my favourite pad to use under makeup, especially if I am feeling dry that day.

Dear Klairs Supple Preparation Toner and Hanyul Rice Essential Skin Softner are featured in my latest empties post and both products I love. I already have a back up of the Hanyul Softner and both are perfect for doing the 7-skin method.

Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence in Intensive Moist is a similar product to the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence and so far I can't tell a difference on my skin when I use both. So I would say maybe at this stage I do not 'need' the SK-II version. Save your money and give the Missha essence a try! I have tried both Hera and Iope's versions - not a fan as I really don't feel like they did much.

Neogen White Truffle Essential Oil Drop is almost used up by now and it is perfect if you have combination skin like me (dry on the surface and oily underneath). This type of oil-infused serums really helps with that hydration boost without being overly thick and ends up clogging up your pores. This layers well even underneath makeup.

Huxley Oil Essence is very similar but slightly more moisturising so I use this at night together with the cream and oil for that more intense moisture before bed. I love the fresh/natural/grass scent of Huxley's products and it relaxes me, so probably that's why I prefer using it at night. I have tried this under makeup and it works very well too. If you have dry skin, using this type of oil-infused products as part of your skin prep will help your makeup sit better and longer on your skin.

Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule reminds me of the Estee Lauder serum. This is probably a dupe of that. I like using this when I have problem skin and I do notice a difference after using this religiously. I already used one bottle up and I regret not getting another one when I was in Korea with the box set. I purchased their Time Revolution Cream and will share how I feel about that in the future.

Huxley Anti Gravity Cream is a thick moisturising cream that I like using at night. I bring this with me when I go on flights as this hydrates my face in the dry-ass air conditioned hotel rooms.

Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar is a very recent find as I got this small tub as a sample when I purchased their Purity face wash. I was wow-ed by this. This is so light-weight yet moisturising at the same time! I'm so sad that this is finished but I have so many other creams to go through so for now I will not repurchase but if I did not have any other creams, I will run out and get the full size of this! This is how much I loved it. It is perfect to be used both in the day and night. I remember not liking their original Hope in a Jar - not sure why but I gave it away after two uses. But this is fantastic - no scent and does its job!

The Face Shop Dr. Belmeur Advanced Cica Recovery Cream has a balmy texture and I like using this when I have breakouts or broken skin - especially after facials. This helps to repair my skin and calm the redness down. Really good product.

Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream is so cheap and good. Does exactly what it says - repairs your skin. The gel texture makes it really light weight and perfect for all skin types. I highly recommend this if you love snail products. This was my go-to morning moisturiser while I had it.

These are creams I love using underneath makeup - acting like a hydrating primer.

Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre has been my favourite hydrating primer for the longest time. I have this in my makeup travel bag and use it as a moisturiser and primer before makeup. Sometimes if I want a light weight base but still with coverage, I will mix this with my high coverage foundation and create my own tinted moisturiser. So beautiful!

Ofra Kim Thai Wanderlush is makes my skin feels so plump and hydrated - ready for makeup. My foundation and concealer stays so beautifully whenever I use this and with these two moisturisers, I can finally use powder to set my concealer again. If you didn't know, I haven't been using powders for close to a year as my skin was just rejecting them. (sadly this product has already been discontinued)

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask has been a long time favourite but I did neglect this for quite sometime. I have been experiencing dry patches and break outs recently so I kept my skincare routine simple. Most of the days I will only apply a mild exfoliating toner and this mask on top. This tube lasts for a pretty long time and I like that it comes in a squeezey tube - less bacteria and so travel friendly.

Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask really works it wonders overnight. I honestly do not notice any firming effects but whenever I use this, my skin feels more plump the next morning and as if some parts of it has been perfected overnight. It's a pretty awesome experience. I will definitely purchase the full size product when I run out.

Cosrx Nourishing Rice Sleeping Mask is my go-to when my skin looks tired and feels crappy. This really heals my skin overnight and I wake up with nourished (yes, like the name) skin. Got to be my favourite Cosrx product out there. I am already onto my third tube.

RMK W Treatment Oil is such a great pre-skincare oil for my skin type. This oil is meant to be used before your skincare routine and it helps to enhance the penetration of the rest of the products that you layer on top of this. I am almost out of this and I will definitely be repurchasing this asap! I feel that this really changed my skincare game and my skin always feel soft after using this.

Huxley Light and More Oil is a pretty tricky product. I thought this was breaking me out when I first got it but now after using this in combination with the essence and cream, it gives me the hydration my skin needs without being too overboard. This is a very light weight and more fluid oil without being too heavy. I think even if you have oilier skin, you may really enjoy this.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate has been my favourite for way too long. This is my trust worthy go-to skin repair oil when I feel like my skin is being a bitch and giving me weird textures or breakouts. This never fails me. I am out of this and will be repurchasing despite having other oils in my collection - I just can't live without this.

Innisfree Canola Honey Lip Balm was my go-to day and night lip care for the longest time and this is the only lip balm that hydrates my lips overnight - and most importantly keep them hydrated even after I wake up.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is my daily lip mask. I'm always impressed by how it manages to stay on my lips overnight considering how I toss and turn while I sleep. I used to have very dry lips and these 2 products changed my life.

CNP Laboratory Propolis Ampule Mist is my best buy from my Korea trip earlier this year. I'm so glad I bought two huge bottles of this. I keep this next to my bed and I use this pretty much whenever I am feeling dry and this layers so well on top of make up. This mist is soooooo fine and smells great too. I hope I will be able to get the smaller version of this and bring this with me everywhere I go. I highly recommend this mist!
