Kathleen Lights have once again partnered with another brand! This time it's the amazing Makeup Geek. I was so excited when I heard she is coming out with highlighters and its even better when the first launch is with Kathleen. This palette retails for $39 on Makeup Geek and S$49.30 on Beauty Bay.

If you didn't already know, Kathleen is one of my favourite YouTubers. Although she isn't a professional MUA, her videos are still very informative. I feel like I'm watching a friend who is as obsessed as I am in beauty related stuff. She is extremely down to earth and sincere - at least that's how she made me feel. Alright, enough rambling as a fan girl. Let's move on to the palette.

Here I have the first two shades - Nightlight and Starlight mixed on my cheekbones.

The packaging is to-die-for! I still have the sleeve until today. Can't bear to throw it away.

L to R
Nightlight, Starlight, Sunlight

Nightlight is a soft light gold.

Starlight is a blushed rosey pink.

Sunlight is a soft bronzed copper.

These highlights are not glittery at all. They have a very intense sheen and by no means subtle.

Here I have some comparison swatches of popular and similar shades that I own.

I did a summery bronze look with this palette on my eyes and cheeks! Super pretty and glowly.

  1. On the one hand, I am kind of over collaborations and Makeup Geek as a brand (their Manny MUA palette is £54 on Beauty Bay, that's ridiculous), but this palette looks exquisite. The swatches are amazing and I love the pattern on the pans, wish their was a mirror but other than that they look perfect on your skin! Great post, thanks for sharing, beautiful photos too xxx

    1. Thank you Kiran! And I totally feel the same way on collabs, especially when everyone doing it now. I always find myself holding the palette up and looking at the cardboard as I'm so used to having mirrors in my compacts haha! xoxo
