20 Jul '16 - Updated with a new matte and glitter shade. Scroll to the bottom for swatches.

The Innisfree Mineral Single Shadows are amazing! I almost bought similar shades from The Face Shop, but these are so much better and slightly cheaper. They retail for S$8 each in stores and comes in 3 different finishes - Matte, Shimmer, Glitter.

These are the shades that I picked up. If I had a higher budget I would have brought back the whole collection. All the shadows are made of Jeju Mineral Powder.

Shimmer 05 - Starry Leo is a golden bronze shade. Super intense and this has got to be my favourite shade out of the 3.

Glitter 04 - Swing in the Swing is a champagne gold. Perfect everyday shade for the lids.

Glitter 08 - Starlight Breaking on the Street is a light champagne pink.

All these are with a SINGLE swipe on my arm! With many other high end brands, I often have to go over a few times to get the intensity I want or to get it more true to colour. These, especially Shimmer 05, reminds me so much of the Makeup Geek Foiled Shadows.

This picture was taken with my iPhone. Just look at how amazing the pigmentation is!

Overall, I highly recommend the Innisfree Mineral Single Shadows. I will be doing up some makeup looks featuring these shadows very soon. I probably will be picking up 1 or 2 matte shades too.

---- 20 Jul '16 ----

I'm back with another update! I passed by Innisfree the other day and wanted to picked up their blushes but all were sold out, so I got drawn to the eyeshadow section again and picked up 2 more shades - Matte 04, Glitter 06.

Matte 04 - A Cup of Latte is a light neural tone brown. Perfect blending crease shade. The matte shades aren't powdery at all. It is very silky to the touch and swatches quite pigmented too. I really like their Matte 05 too, very pretty poopy brown.

Glitter 06  - Stand on Jeju Coast is a golden bronze, very similar to Shimmer 08. Probably shouldn't have gotten this as they both look soooo similar!

  1. These shades are stunning! I can't get over how pigmented they are! It would be interesting to see if the matte ones are as pigmented.

    1. Hi Emmy, these are indeed one of the best single shadows I have seen especially in Korean makeup brands. I just updated with swatches on a matte shade that I got. Do check it out! It didn't disappoint at all. By the way, you have a beautiful blog and I have followed you on Bloglovin' :)

  2. I really2 love your choices of rose gold-ish eyeshadows. Not just today's Innisfree shades, but MUG and Colourpop in previous posts. I tell myself 'no more buying new eyeshadows' and then I read your blog and my resolve weakens...
