Morphe Brushes | Gun Metal Collection ReviewSaturday, June 18, 2016
I have done reviews on my Elite and Flawless/MasterPro brushes for Morphe. The Gun Metal Collection was originally supposed to be limited edition and not necessary the cheapest line. The price range of these are pretty much the same as the Elites. The Gun Metals all have synthetic bristles that feels super soft and smooth on the skin. Natural hairs can be rougher and hence scratchy sometimes.
G5 Pointed Powder $17.99 - A tapered fluffy brush that is perfect for setting the face, applying blush and bronzer. If you are looking for a single good face brush, I would recommend this one as it has multiple uses. Very similar to the Elite E3.
G2 Pointed Buffer $13.99 - A tapered buffer brush that can be use to blend out concealer, setting the under eye or also good to work with cream contours. This brush reminds me a lot of the Real Techniques Contour Brush that comes in their core set, which I love using to blend out my concealer. The G2 is a bit bigger and soaks up more product.
G17 Round Blender $7.99 - A fluffy blending brush that is very similar to the Elite E23 and E27. Also a great dupe for the more popular Sigma E40.
