How gorgeous is this set. I know I have no need for any more brushes .. but .. I couldn't resist! This set has a few eye brushes that I love and no harm having another one for back up. This is the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set Vol. 3 with 8 brushes and a clutch. I love the Zoeva clutches. I always use them as my makeup bags especially while travelling. While making this order, I also picked up the Zoeva Rose Golden Blush Palette - pressed blush, highlighting and contour powders with a velvety smooth formula.

Finally got around to reviewing this set of brushes I got from Morphe. The Elite Collection is suppose to be the most expensive line out of all their brushes, but also of the best quality. It really reminds me of the Sephora Pro Brushes that costs S$30-70+ each. As for the Elites, the most expensive huge ass face brushes should cost around US$22.99. The rest usually range around US$5-7 for eye brushes and US$16ish for other medium size face brushes. By the way, these are available on Beauty Bay, which is a nice website that offers free shipping to Singapore on orders over S$30.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal | Review and Swatches

Since the post I did on the Jaclyn Hill x Becca Holiday Palette in Champagne Glow, I decided to get a full size pressed shimmering skin perfector from Becca as well. But I had such a hard time deciding between Moonstone and Opal (S$58). I made two separate trips down to Sephora (yes! our Sephora finally carries Becca products and I can't wait for them to expand the line and bring in foundations etc) and still couldn't decide after staring at it for so long #firstworldproblems. I googled potential dupes for both shades and Moonstone is actually a very popular dupe for The Balm's Mary Lou. So since I already own that one, I decided to go for Opal. I know Opal suits medium skin tones better but I just got suck into its unique shade.

An impulse buy in store. It was just a causal stroll in Sephora one day during lunch. The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons (S$79) palette was launched together with this - Tarte Tartelette In Bloom (S$69) palette and I liked both from watching a few YouTube videos. So I went to swatch both palettes side by side and the Tartelette in Bloom definitely won me over. I can see myself using all the shades in this palette, whereas the Chocolate Bon Bons had quite a few shades that I just know that I will never reach for.

I actually have a whole folder of this sitting in my 'to-do' piles. But those photos are horrendous. I took them at night and the lighting is just way off. I do not have expensive professional lightings for product shoots so I rely a lot on natural sunlight and the flash on my camera.
