I just got back from Bangkok yesterday and here I am, with a bunch of new goodies to share with you guys! I bought most of the stuff in duty free as that's the best place to pick up higher end products.

DUTY FREE

I picked up the hand cream to use on flight as I get crazy dry when I'm flying. Age is definitely catching up. I packed facial mist as well. Really shouldn't have put on any base makeup when flying. 

I picked up this Bobbi Brown Lip Color in Sandwash Pink S$31.20. Allana Davison mentioned this in her videos and it looks gorgeous on her so I decided to get it. It's my first time trying Bobbi Brown lipsticks. I wore this twice so far and really love the creamy texture. Not drying at all and does not pick up on my dry patches. This shade is a dusty mauve colour - MLBB shade and does not fade awkwardly. 

After hearing so many good things about this cushion foundation, I finally got this. It's the Sulwhasoo Evenfair Perfecting Cushion in 13 Light Pink S$65.20. Sulwhasoo is a high end brand that caters towards more mature women, hence the higher price tag. I am currently using the HERA UV Mist Ultra Moisture and I'm thinking of doing a comparison post on all the cushion foundations I own in the near future.

Picked up a few NARS goodies off KathleenLights' recommendations on her 2015 Favourites. NARS is so much more affordable in duty free. I wanted to pick up a back up for my Sheer Glow foundation but they do not have my shade at all the counters and I didn't want to risk getting the next darker shade, which is Deauville, as it looks quite yellow when swatched. I am using Gobi.

I also finally got the pump for my Sheer Glow foundation because I'm really getting sick of pouring out way too much and wasting such a pricey item.

I got their eyeshadow duo in ISOLDE - a super metallic gold and bronze, exactly the kind of shades that I love. They swatch so pigmented and creamy. Can't wait to create looks with these shadows!

Next, I got the MADLY blush - a neutral brown with a slight shimmer. I suppose this will look really natural and similar to my favourite Tarte Exposed blush.

This is a very popular cosmetic store in Bangkok. It was so packed! I didn't even make it to the second floor as I already spent so much time browsing. They do carry tons of brands from affordable drugstore brands like e.l.f, Real Techniques, Physicians Formula, Wet n Wild, and many Korean brands, to higher end brands that I didn't get to. I suppose those are up on the second floor.

I got a back up of my favourite sun screen - Bioré UV Brightening Milk. Also tried out the SAEM Firming Tiger Collagen Mask, just thought it was cute.

I was so excited to see that they carry Makeup Revolution London! Finally get to swatch the products as I was quite disappointed with my previous purchase. I got their Iconic Blush Bronze & Brighten in Flush - ฿ 450 ≈ S$18.20.

It is a small and slim compact case with a nice mirror inside that is perfect for traveling.

I almost got the City Colors Spice Me Up palette but I picked this up instead as the colours swatched so beautifully! This is the FREEDOM Professional London - Pro 12 Audacious 3 Palette - ฿ 520 ≈ S$21. This really reminds me of the UD Naked 3 palette that my boyfriend got me for Christmas - which I really love but I do have to say some of the shades aren't very pigmented and that sucks because of how expensive the palette is.

I have worn this in Bangkok with a primer underneath, and after a whole sweaty and hot day of walking around and eating, it didn't crease or fade off at all. Highly recommend!

I know it's hard to see anything from this picture but I was wearing this palette that day.

Here's a look I did with this palette when I got home and had more time to play with it.

Step 1 - Lightly dust the matte dusty rose colour in the crease as a transition shade.

Step 2 - Deepen the crease with the matte brown colour. I only added it to my outer and inner corners.

Step 3 - Apply this metallic gold colour on the center of the lids.

Step 4 - Apply this metallic rose gold colour on top of the gold and bringing it into the inner half of the lids. And then top it off with the same golden shade we used previously to intensify the look.

Step 5 - Darken the outer corners with this metallic brown colour.

Step 6 - To balance out the look, apply all the shades in the same order on the lower lash line.





Step 7 - Complete the look with mascara or falsies and a simple wing liner. Here I am using the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and e.l.f Cream Eyeliner in Black.

Paired this look with theBalm's Charming.

Next is the COSLUXE Slim Brow Pencil in Caramel & Deep Brown - ฿ 199 ≈ S$8. I couldn't decide on the shades as their testers were all out, so I got both. It reminds me a lot of the ABH Brow Wiz and NYX Micro Brow. After trying this, I really regret not picking up more! This is sooo cheap and good. The spoolie is nice too.

DRUGSTORE

I can't remember the name of the store that I got these from but it is located inside MBK Shopping Center right opposite Boots.

This Essence Lipliner in Satin Mauve is always out of stock in Singapore and I have been trying to find this for quite a while now. I have tried this underneath the Bobbi Brown Sandwash Pink and they both work great together. This lipliner is very creamy despite being a wooden lipliner.

Soap & Glory

Decided to try out their Solar Powder which is a bronzing duo, looks very promising.

Kaushal Beauty has been raving about this Kick Ass Instant Retouch Pressed Powder - a yellowish setting powder, so I decided to give it try since I love their One Heck of a Blot so much.

Lastly, is the item that I couldn't find in all the Boots I visited until I got to the airport - I picked up the last one on the shelf. It is the Archery Brow Filling Pencil & Brush in Hot Chocolate.

This was our final stop at a cat cafe and I super love their merchandise. I got one tumblr, which I am sipping on right now, and the glass that they use to serve drinks in the café.
