Morphe Brushes 35T Palette | Review and Swatches with Makeup Look
Thursday, November 5, 2015
Picked up this taupey-rosey-bronzey palette from Morphe Brushes - the 35T Taupe. Retails for USD$22.99 w/o shipping. International shipping is crazy so I got it from Carousell instead for a whopping S$58 before postage. By the way, these are available on Beauty Bay, which is a nice website that offers free shipping to Singapore on orders over S$30.
ROW 1
How beautiful! Love the metallic shades. The first row has very bronzey and rosey colours. The one on the corner is a beautiful brown rose-golden shade! I use it on the center of my lids.
ROW 2
This row has nice matte brown crease shades and bronze metallic shades, extremely versatile to get a nice everyday eye look.
ROW 3
Purples and bronze for this row. The last 2 brown shades has a chocolatey hue.
ROW 4
One of my favourite rows! I love almost every shade in this row. The first cute rose gold colour that looks so much like the new iPhone 6s haha and can we please take a moment and appreciate the second last colour - what a beautiful metallic olive green. In love.
ROW 5
This row consists most of the matte blending shades. Very nice mattes in this palette as it isn't chalky like some other cheaper palettes (e.g. makeup revolution ones).
Update - 13th March 2016, updated with the following glam night time look. Perfect for events or dinners. Lip is Ofra Atlantic City. p.s YES, I am wearing clothes - tube top.
Update - 3rd March 2016, I have updated this post with better swatches and a simple bronze look here.
Here I have done up a collective swatch of the shades in pan and swatched!
The Morphe palettes are really a bang for your buck. However, you pay for what you get, so don't expect the shadows to blending beautifully. Some of the mattes can get a bit muddy looking if you are not careful. I really like the shimmers in this 35T and I reach for those the most. And here's a makeup tutorial by Kathleen Lights with this palette :) enjoy ~ xoxo

ReplyDeleteThank you dear. So glad that you liked this post! I have actually just updated and replaced all the swatch photos with even better ones to show the true colors :) enjoy!
DeletePlease can you do a dupe for this palette? I've searched but couldn't find and I guess this is like a dupe for naked 3 palette
ReplyDeleteHi, I believe the BH Cosmetics x Carli Bybel palette has similar tones :)
