Feeling bored at home so decided to whip out all my recent purchases and do a major haul of what I got over the past few months. #dontjudge I am a #makeuphoarder

I put in quite a bit of effort and took nice pictures with swatches and all. SO PRO HOR. LOL

WHERE DO I START?! I think I will just go random with the individual makeup and skincare brands. Saving the best for last; COLOURPOP!

Well the first thing.. I got another Naked palette. This is the original one. I have been putting off to get this for a long long time as I already own the Naked 2. But I saw a deal online for S$23 off the retail price in Sephora S$83. I just had to get it. Naked 1 is more warm while Naked 2 has cooler tones.

Super love the pinkish champagne color - SIN. Another two colors I have been using a lot is SIDECAR & DARKHORSE. The two matte blending shades are amazing too. For those who are looking for a palette to start with. This will be it. Can't go wrong with urban decay shadows. They are amazeballs.

Next up. Bought this Sephora brand nude liner for inner rim. I have tried this for awhile now. Staying power is not too fantastic but still alright. Nothing to complain.

Just got this from Sephora a few days ago. Not too sure if I need it but hopefully this will change my eye shadow game haha

Many many new mascara.

Maybelline Lash Sensational - Plastic wand that looks like a fatter version of the Roller Lash. Have not seen drastic lengthening or plumping effects from this.
Benefit Roller Lash - Quite a promising higher end mascara. I don't think this is waterproof but this does not smudge on me at all. So thumbs up for that. I love the thin wand; good for lower lashes.
Too Faced Better Than Sex - For those that wants to know, this isn't waterproof. Give you tons of volume. I really want to love this the most as KathleenLights raves about this on her channel (btw she is my current favourite youtuber, go watch her pls!) but this smudge on me big time. I usually coat this with another mascara to prevent smudging.
L'oreal Telescopic Original - Can't wait to try this! Why Singapore don't have this!!! I bought this off Target.com and have it shipped to Singapore via Comgateway (shipping was CRAY!!!) I do want to try and get my hands on their Carbon Black and Shocking Extensions versions as well.

UP-ing my brow game a whole lot. Long story about my brows but main point is that I do not have perfectly full brows that I used to have. I had to reshape them as they don't even look like distant relatives (eyebrows should look like sisters; not twins) -.- Which means the ends of my right brow has NO hair. It is extremely hard for product to grab just on the bare skin. My HG brow pencil is the slanted eye brow pencil in 03 BROWN from Etude House ($5.90). Love that shit. Super cheap and is my perfect shade. Recently I started exploring more ... I just bought the NYX Microbrow Pencil in Ash Brown ($18+) and the Sephora Brow Pencil in 04 Midnight Brown (S$17).

As to enhance the staying power. I got the NYX Brow Gel in Brunette as well as the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown (S$29). I have yet to try the dipbrow but NYX Brow Gel costs only S$12 at Sephora and it stays on the moment it dries. I usually squeeze out the product onto my hands and fill my brows in with an angled brush from Sigma. And when I'm done, I had to scrub it off with makeup wipes. Good stuff.

As for face makeup. I recently discovered the Emryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate. Many makeup artists (Wayne Goss, Samantha Chapman etc.) raved about this over the years as the BEST moisturizer and primer for ALL SKIN TYPES. It's quite hard to get in Singapore but just do a search on Carousell and there are quite a few sellers. Price is around S$35-40.

NYX Angel Veil is another highly raved primer in the YouTube world. Apparently this is comparable to the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer that is HG to many. Singapore does not carry this primer so I ordered it on NYX.com. It should cost around US$24 for the bigger size one.

More concealers adding into my already big family lol

Urban Decay Naked Skin (Light Warm) - This should be the second lightest shade. I have to say their shade range is horrible. The next shade after this is too dark and this is a tad too light for me. So I can only use it under my eyes. But it's ok because that exactly what I use it for most of the time. I have the NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer in Vanilla & Custard as well but that stuff is too heavy for my undereye (I much prefer the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Light 10 & Fair 15).
Maybelline Better Skin (Light) - Light weight concealer that doesn't look cakey at all. Will need to try this more. So far so good.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser (Fair) - I have so many different versions of this concealer. Brightener, Neutralizer, Light. I love this! Especially for those days where I just want a bit of coverage but not full face foundation. I just pop this under my eyes, forehead, sides of my nose, chin and blend it all out. It blends out well and looks great.

Foundations! I actually got more than just these three. I purchased the Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer in Porcelain and the newly formulated Oil-Free Silk Creme Photo Edition Foundation in Cream Ivory (this is way too heavy for me but I guess it will be a great full coverage foundation for a night out; but if I were to wear it I always mix it with an illuminating primer and it looks great).

NARS Sheer Glow in Gobi - This has got to be my HG foundation for now. This is totally not sheer and not glow-y. It is probably a build-able foundation with light/medium coverage; perfect for everyday use. I wore this to my roadshows (outdoors) and I stood outside for one whole day without touching up; it still looked great after I get home. Only part that faded off is the side of my nose and mouth as I wipe my mouth quite hard after eating lol #weirdo. Another thing is that I ONLY get compliments on my makeup whenever I am wearing this foundation. I use different foundations everyday but when I pick this, I always get people asking about my foundation and the ONE comment that I get the most is that this looks so natural and looks like skin. I got a friend hooked on this as well. This is pricey S$70+ but totally worth the money. But Maybelline & L'oreal has amazing foundations too. I just ordered Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless in 112 and L'oreal Infallible Matte in 102. I am CRAZY! Foundation expires and I don't know why I bought so many. But makeup shopping de-stresses me BIG TIME.
Too Face Born This Way in Porcelain - Highly raved by YouTubers (not sure if they are being paid to do so lol). But anyway, picked this up from Sephora at 15% discount when it was launched. It retails at S$51 at Sephora if I'm not wrong. A cheaper alternative to super high end makeup. This is a medium/full coverage build-able foundation that looks really natural but only with a damp beauty blender. I do not like how this looks with my Sigma F80 Kabuki. TOO CAKEY. I really want to use this more but the color is a tad too dark for me and it does OXIDIZE :( so sad. You can see from the swatches below that it is the darkest one out of all and Porcelain is the lightest shade in their collection................ why Too Faced... why......

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in 51 Vanille Clair - I'm sure most of the people have already heard of this before. It is a light weight gel-based foundation. I love the fruity smell of this anyway. I own this in shade 52 but it's not my perfect shade. I picked this up from Metro, retailing at $31.90/32.90. Not a cheap drugstore. More like high street pricing. But still reasonable for the quality of the product. Lasting power is not too fantastic as my working hours are generally quite long but this is a great go-to foundation that I see myself grabbing very often. Looks natural on the skin and gives you a healthy look.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Powder - Ordered this from Target.com as well. Got it in the shade Translucent. Yet to try this but reviews online looks promising!

Milani Powder Blush in Tea Rose - Pretty everyday pinkish matte blush. I realize I have been grabbing matte blush more than my shimmery rose gold type of blush. I regret not getting the Romantic Rose one. It is a mauve pink and looks super good from the swatches I have seen online.

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer S$42 - I have been starting to get back into bronzing and contouring. Loving this. I have a heavy hand and sometimes darker bronzer just looks dirty on me. This milk chocolate shade is amazing, especially the chocolatey smell...... hehe I look forward to using this everyday. Just walk into Sephora and SMELL THIS!

Milani Powder Blush in Tea Rose Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Swatch

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink Quartz - Hmmm not too sure how I feel about this. I bought this online so I didn't pay full price for this but I guess this is a bit too shimmery for blush and too pink for highlight. I have been using this as eyeshadow mostly. I like the colors mixed together for a lighter all-over shimmer lid.

Rosebud Salve Lip Balm - This thing smells great! I like to apply this before bed or before putting on my makeup. So when I get to my lips, it's already plump and moisturized. Can't remember the price but should be S$10+ at Sephora's check out lane.

I might be dramatic but this here

NARS Audacious Lipstick in ANITA and NATALIE
The pigmentation is crazy good. One swipe and its so opaque! See my swatches below. This is not full-on matte but it 'clings' onto my lips throughout the entire day. This is a lipstick, so it will transfer when you eat/drink but the color doesn't fade off too awkwardly. I haven't experience the awkward and gross white line inside the lips with this lipstick.

Anita is always in my makeup bag that I carry around with me. It is a mauve-dusty rose. A MLBB shade for me. Never go wrong with this if I don't know what to put on my lips.
Natalie is a brighter pinkish-coral color. Love this too. Need to start wearing this shade more!

Need I say more about the packaging?! It is so sleek. And it has a magnetic closure. So atas. Love it.

 L'oreal Collection Exclusive - Julianne's Nude and Blake's Red
How chio the packaging! It is a rubbery-matte material. Looks so classy with the gold words. I am a sucker for packaging.

Julianne's Nude is the only nude out of the entire collection that I see myself wearing - a pinkish nude. BUT, it looks like this has a white-ish base?? I washes me out and looks weird if worn alone. I think this might layer well over other lip colors.
Blake's Red is the perfect classy red with a blue undertone that suits me more. A matte-ish finish and is extremely pigmented! I recommend the Reds Line over the Nudes.

(how pretty is this photo! so proud of myself hehehehe)

Swatches - as you can tell, the nude has a sheen and is quite sheer. Oh another thing, L'oreal lipsticks smell funky........ It's the old/vintage lipstick smell. It is strong and does linger for a while.

MAC!!!! No idea why I bought so many within such a short period of time but there is just something about MAC lipsticks that draws me in.

Velvet Teddy (Matte) - This shade wasn't available in Singapore but I saw this at the Taka outlet just recently. It is a highly raved brownish-nude matte lipstick that looks so different on everyone. It is a bit too brown for my liking. I use my ring finger to sheer this out and layer another pinkish-nude over this to balance the brown out.
Chatterbox (Amplified) - This is the only range that I like aside from the Mattes. All the shades are super pigmented and creamy. Doesn't dry out my lips whatsoever. The rest of the lines are too sheer for my liking and I am not paying S$30 for a sheer lipstick (tinted lip balm works better).
Vegas Volt (Amplified) - Not available in Singapore. This is a wearable orange shade that looks good on many skin tones.
Impassioned (Amplified) - Super beautiful hot bright pink!
High Speed (Sheen Supreme) - This is a super flattering pinkish-coral (lol I have so many pinkish-coral shades) with a sheen - glossy look. Can pat with finger to look less glossy.

I got a few Gerard Cosmetics lip products. So far really enjoying them!

Rodeo Drive Lipstick - Mauve pink. MLBB shade. Looks really good even on darker skin.
1995 Lipstick - As the name suggests, it is a retro shade. It is less nude than Velvet Teddy by Mac and a darker brown with a slight hint of brick red. I like this applied with finger and sheered out.
Serenity Matte Liquid Lipstick - I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! I dropped this when I went to Vietnam earlier and I was so upset about it. So I immediately ordered another one. This is S$25! Not too cheap as compared to my Colourpop Ultra Matte Lips. But i really love this formula! It's a creamy matte that is so comfortable on the lips! It doesn't crack and flake off throughout the day. LOVE THIS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Wet N Wild Megalast Lipsticks have a matte formula. I do not have too much to say about this as I do not see myself reaching for these very often but the colors are great. I should use these more. All 3 shades I have are very similar.... all pinks..oops

My elf order from Carousell and eyelipsface.com just all came in.

ELF Prism Eyeshadow Palette in Naked
Highly pigmented shadows and only missing a matte crease shade and it will be a perfect traveling palette. It is super compact and slim. Highly recommend! Carousell has this for only S$14.

ELF Poreless Face Primer
Have yet to use this on my face but when I swatched it, it felt oily and slippery. I thought it will be a pore filling primer like the Maybelline Pore Eraser. Weird texture and consistency......

Update: I tested this out, and despite the strong tea-tree smell, this works quite well as a primer!

ELF Contour and Blush Duo in St Lucia and Fiji (Matte)
Just look at the photos. No need for words. Can't wait to use them!!!

ELF Baked Blush
Pinktastic is the perfect shimmery highlight shade! Love this. This is so cheap. I do reach for this over my theBalm Mary Lou Manizer (which is the best highlighter EVER) sometimes.
Pink Passion is just a shimmery pink blush. Both has great color pay-off and I really recommend trying out their baked blush and highlighters.

ELF Brushes
Studio Fan Brush - Great for a light dust of highlighter.
Beautifully Bare Blending Brush - Yet to try but looks like a good brush for buffing in foundation or blending out bronzer/contour.

Need I say more... It's rose gold.

I really recommend Zoeva brushes! Especially their eye brushes. I love their Crease, Petite Crease, Brow Line, Shader, Smudger eye brushes.

Luxola just restocked their Rose Gold Vol. 2 brush sets recently. Go check them out and they have several card promos (I use Visa 20% off) and also frequent sales. Can subscribe to their newsletter for updates. (I am not affiliated with them in anyway but I really love their website and service is awesome)

Got this Biore Cleansing Water 'cause it was on sale at S$13.90. I love the pump. Very user-friendly. It works alright for removing makeup. I still prefer the Bioderma; that one can remove my eye makeup very well including mascara. This Biore one works like the Garnier water. I like using this to lightly remove my face makeup before deep cleansing in the shower.

Dang dang.. In my previous post I mentioned that the Clarisonic is too harsh for daily use. I always have a slight phobia of having pimples after using it 'cause of the brush head that collects bacteria.

I got the Foreo Luna in Pink (Normal/Sensitive). It has an anti-aging massaging function on the back as well. Not too sure if it works or just a gimmick. Anyhooos, I will be checking back after a few months on this product.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy S$20 - Just got this from Sephora two days ago. So far so good.
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream - This product has like a cult following or something. You can use this for so many things but I only use it on my lips. Amazing. Love it. Got it from duty free for S$20.
Estee Lauder Hydrationist - I used this a few years back and really enjoyed it. Not too rich for my normal/combination skin but still does the job well. It smells quite good too.

Spray stuff.
Fresh Rose Floral Toner - Probably will not repurchase/recommend this. I do not see or feel any difference. It smells great because of the rose scent but I can get the same moisturizing effect from the Mario Badescu Rose and Herbs Facial Spray and The Body Shop Vitamin E Facial Spray. Both at a fraction of the price of Fresh products.
Muji Light Toning Water (High Moisture) 200ml $12.30 - I do not like the spray at all so I spray it onto my palm and rub into my skin afterwards. I got the high moisture one; I do feel the hydration but I will probably pick up the bigger bottle (400ml) in Moisture when I'm done with this. They have a Light S$10.30 version for oily skin as well! I researched online and the ingredients that they put in this toner is really good for the skin. Let's see how it goes :)
Alpha H Moisture Boosting Facial Mist - No comments yet. Probably just fancy water lol.

Early birthday pressie from mum! She wanted to get something else for me but I just told her this is a good enough present! The SKII Whitening Spots Specialist. Will update on how this works for me. I have many little brown scaring spots from previous breakouts.

Josie Maran Pure Argan Milk - Hmm bought this at a super discounted price. Probably should have done more research on this. Apparently people hate this new formula *cries. I have not used this yet. Will update on this one.

(hello *twist)

The biggest haul will be from this brand! Colourpop!

Going on a lipstick frenzy!!! I have so many, and so many of the same type of shades. Guilty for staying in my comfort zone.

First, the Lippie Stix, they come in many different formulas - Satin, Matte, Creme, Glossy, Sheer.
No more words, let's just look at the swatches! By the way, I love them all. The formula for this is superb!

Ultra Matte Lips
Formula is not my favourite (prefer the GC Serenity) but if you want a matte lip that stays on for a long time and don't mind the dry-ness. Then this is the perfect one for you. They have absolutely no transfer at all and dries almost immediately. Super hard to remove. Please use an oil-based remover to avoid scrubbing your lips too hard.

Here I did a lip swatch for one of my favorite shade - Creeper!

Random - L.A Girl Matte Pigment in Bazaar and Obsess
This has a creamier consistency and not completely matte. When you put your lips together, it has a tacky feeling. Easier to touch up through out the day as compared to the Colourpop ones.

Shade comparison with the Colourpop Matte Lips
(don't mind the misspell for Bazaar)
Bazaar is a redder/pinker version of Bumble.
Obsess is very similar to Succulent.

Super Shock Cheeks!
Highlighters - Lunch Money, Wisp
Blush - Holiday (Matte)
Bronzer - Skinny Dip (Matte)

I have decided to use Wisp as an eyeshadow. It is way too dark as a highlight.
Holiday looks good sheered out on the cheeks. I might want to pick up Birthday Suit next.
Skinny Dip is just the perfect matte bronzer/contour shade for my skin tone.

Super Shock Shadows!

I had one called SMASH that was lost during postage :(

These are all metallic finishes as I already have plenty of matte brown shades for blending purposes. However I might still order more mattes in the future.
THIS - Light champagne shade as a highlight in the inner-corner or an all-over lid color.
SO QUICHE - Light brown shimmer shade with a hint of purple flakes; very unique color.
LA LA - Rose gold; and it's metallic. Need I say more.
NILLIONAIRE - Dark brown version of SO QUICHE; also with purple and gold flakes. I have been using this on my lids almost everyday after I got it. Staying power is great.

Tip: All their shadows works best when applied with fingers.

How pretty is this packaging.

This quad comes with a light matte highlight/brow-bone shade (GLOW); a neutral brown crease shade (CORNELIOUS) and two gorgeous shimmery IN-YO-FACE brown (BLAZE) and warm golden colour (KATHLEENLIGHTS).
* CORNELIOUS is actually one of Kathleen's dogs and she named this matte brown after him is because it reminds her of Cornelious' fur color. So cute. Can I name a sliver highlight shade - Lizzie, as well??

Colourpop products can be purchased/pre-ordered on many carousell accounts. Look for those with tons of positive feedbacks. Won't go wrong! Since we are on the topics of Carousell. Shop my stash too @beautylights (oops, you guys know who inspired the name hehe)

Last but not least! A peak into my makeup bag that I carry with me almost everywhere I go.
Bag is a Chanel Beauty Bag I guess. Size is just nice for a couple of my essentials.

CLIO Tension Lip in Butter Kiss
Cute natural pink. A safe lip color to pop on.

Mini travel size TARTE Amazonian Clay Blush in Sweet
Shimmery rose golden blush.

Soap and Glory - Hand Food and One Heck of a Blot
I really recommend the blotting powder for touch up if you start to have an oily nose or forehead. It is not available in Singapore but I bought it on Carousell once again for S$30. I prefer this way over the Mac blotting powder that does nothing at all and smells weird.

Random new buy from H&M while I was in the queue to buy some hair ties. I saw this cute little pebbled pastel pink makeup bag. It's less than S$20 and it's available in black too.

This is quite an old goodie I purchased off Shopbop.com as they have free shipping to Singapore.
The Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac Bag in Black with Pale Gold Hardware. Just wanted a casual sling bag that still looked trendy.

That's all! My butt and back is already hurting from sitting at the same spot for so bloody long. From taking pictures to editing them to doing up this post. I really enjoy this kinda random posts and sharing good products. I am a makeup hoarder and it is the only thing that make me feel less stress and to be in my little bubble. Lol it may sound stupid to some but I just really enjoy it.

Photos are all taken with my SONY RX100 MII camera. The best portable digital camera with DSLR quality IMO.

Okay time to end this long post. Long day tomorrow with a 5-hour long meeting to go and I can't wait for dinner with the girls at 海底捞!! Adios~
