Updated 29 Dec 2015 - New photos! I have decided to do a demo on this old favourite of mine.

I got this in the shade 200 Nude. I can't remember the exact price, but it should be retailing at around S$30. Watsons always has sales going on so I would suggest getting it during sales period instead. I grabbed a brand new bottle just yesterday at Watsons and they are having a 50% off for this range of foundations.

All foundation shades
Here's the entire shade range but Singapore only carry a fraction of what is available in the US

Do note that this packaging does not come with a pump, so you will have to pour the product onto the back of your hands. The packaging is the only compliant I have as it is very tricky to get the right amount.

This foundation has a SPF of 15 but it is not enough so I do recommend layering your own sun protection underneath.

In this post, I will be doing a demo of how this foundation looks when applied with a flat top brush like the Sigma F80 and also the cult favourite beauty blender.

Tools Beauty Blender Sigma F80

Here I have no makeup on my face. I only applied the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser primer to fill in my pores around my noes area. As you can see, I do have a few blemishes here and there and I do have quite a few moles haha

Bare Face

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this shade matched me when it was blended out as it looks quite pink when first applied.

As you can see, this is not a full coverage foundation. I only did one layer and that's how I do my makeup most of the time, I rarely go in with a second layer. It did lighten the spots I have around my face, but definitely did not conceal them. Note: This is not a bad thing at all as I prefer more light weight foundation. You can always go in with spot concealing if a particular blemish is really bothering you.

The beauty blender did a much better job with making my natural skin show through and did not look cakey in anyway. This is why I always go with my beauty blender over foundations even after I applied them with a brush. It just looks so much better.

Warning. I did close up shots on my skin to really show you guys the texture of how different tools work with this foundation. You can tell how the much the brush brings out those pores around my cheeks and the beauty blender really blended everything in really well without disrupting the primer I already applied underneath.

My personal preference for foundation is liquid foundation (check out my favourite foundations), then setting it with a loose or compact powder. I do own Rimmel Stay Matte powder - that helps remove shine and keeps your face matte. I have a more recent favourite with is the Ben Nye Cameo loose setting powder as well as the Too Faced Primed and Poreless loose powder. I still own quite a few compact powders that I like as well, will cover more in detail in a future post.

When I first bought this foundation in 2012, I was working part time event jobs - I really need a long lasting foundation to last through the day as I will start sweating and my face will get so oily. This foundation comes in two formulas - Dry Skin, Oily/Combination Skin. I got the latter and I guess it does a pretty good job at controlling the oil but I will still recommend setting your t-zone, or which ever area that's gets oily. Now, 2015, I am starting to get less oily and having a few dry patches here than there if I did not hydrate my face well or drink enough water.

7 November 2012, Verdict -
After using it for 2 days, I really like it! Not only does it gives natural and maximum coverage, it also lasts through the entire day, even under the hot sun. The redness around my nose is something that I am really concerned about. And compared to the other foundations I have been using recently - ZA and The Face Shop BB Cream, this last so much longer and does not fade off as much.

ZA - Light coverage foundation. I prefer their concealer and am still using it!
Face Shop BB Cream - This just makes my face way fairer than it should be. Looks pretty after applying but doesn't last. By noon, all the redness around my nose will be visible. My face will start to cake up and foundation are visibly sliding around.

This foundation is really worth trying. Just a little bit can go a long way, so the product can last you quite a while. wallet friendly!

Can you tell that I am in love with highlights! I go so crazy with them.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick

I owned two formulas but since I'm doing a update after so long, I had already given away the matte lipstick in 013 Smoked Peach. It is really too dry for me and I did not like how it sat on my lips. Here's a few clearer pictures of it that I could find on my phone.
